The focus of the conference covers financial sustainability, health information technology (HIT), clinical service delivery, and operational efficiency. The purpose is to share best practices for becoming an "Employer of Choice" and "Partner of Choice" (EPPOC) in healthcare, ensuring high-quality, accessible, and community-driven care.

Our HIV team, lead by Marcia Garrett, FNP, along with Le’Kia Miller and Laura Gammel have been busy doing outreach, free testing, treatment, education, and more all over our service area. We are so proud of the work they are doing and for the compassionate care they are providing.

Amy Gresham, Director of Quality and Risk Management, Jennifer Pierce, Chief Clinical Operations Officer, and Nichole Waldon, Director of Nursing are in Boston this week to attend the Azara Conference. Azara is a population health platform that our organization uses to assist us in obtaining quality data that is necessary in providing comprehensive, high quality healthcare to our patients. We are certain they are representing NMPHC very well and gaining insights to assist in our continued growth.

Our next monthly food pantry is coming up on Friday, April 24. It starts at 9:30am and lasts until everything is gone.
